As a Japanese, I’m ashamed of what our ancestors and we did to their own and other countries in the past.

I disagree with war.

Especially in this society, most of the countries’ citizens don’t have the will to kill someone and start war. It’s only the leaders who want to seize properties and earn money during the war.

War destroys immense numbers of lives, not only human, but also non human such as non-human animals, plants and the environment itself.

I hope it’ll end as soon as possible.

May the souls of the victims of this war rest in peace.

日本人として、過去に国内外問わず行ってきた暴力・差別、あらゆる命の尊厳を蔑ろにした行為に対し、忸怩たる思いです。

戦争反対。

特に現代社会において、いずれの国でもほとんどの人は誰かを殺したいとは思っていませんし、戦争を起こしたいとも思っていないでしょう。そんなことを考えるのは、何としてでも利益を得たいリーダーたちや、戦争でお金を稼ぐ軍需産業などです。

戦争は、莫大な数の命を奪います。人間だけに限らず、人間以外の動物や植物、戦場となる地域の環境そのものをも破壊し殺します。

はやく戦争が終わりますように。

そして、被害を受けた方々のご冥福をお祈りいたします。
